Friday 12/11: S.M. Wolf // Dog & Pony // Night Auditor

Friday December 11 @ LangLab $8 at the door | Doors @ 7pm | Music @ 8pm S.M. Wolf (Indianapolis) Neon Debris was coreleased by Jurassic Pop and In Store Recordings on November 7, 2015. With a youthful punk spirit and an infectious twee reminiscent of the Elephant 6 collective, Neon Debris keeps you on your toes from start to finish. Impose Magazine premiered the album in full calling it “a classicist exercise in buoyant hooks and uptempo rock insistence, teeming with bright keyboard melodies and cut by the knotty but dulcet vocals of bandleader Adam Gross... with its pop ambition sounding less like commercial gambit than spiritual compulsion.” www.facebook.com/yesmwolf smwolf.bandcamp.com Night Auditor (Los Angeles) Night Auditor is the new musical outing of Los Angeles composer/producer Hilal Omar Al Jamal and his collaborators in the midwestern US. The band's recently released debut EP Drugzdilla, and forthcoming single Romance represent nearly 3 years of experimentation with analog instruments and offbeat recording techniques in an effort to compose and produce a genre-bending debut that would communicate the band's aesthetic trajectory: to make organic, funky, noisy, dance-inducing experimental music, combining psychedelic interpretations of genres as seemingly disparate as funk, noise, soul, R&B ,doo-wop, dub, punk, and synthpop. http://nightauditorband.com/ Dog & Pony Dog & Pony is a four piece outfit currently growing in South Bend, IN and beyond. Their sound is wildly original yet familiar tinges ring throughout. Self-proclaimed as New-Wop Moon-Rock, their sonic step has a bigger bounce as if walking with less gravity. They continue to build steam and each performance further solidifies their presence. The release of an EP and plans to record a full length album in 2015 has them planted on the map. https://dogpony.bandcamp.com/
