Timbre is composed of Timbre Cierpke, who composes, sings lead vocals and plays the harp, along with Patrick Rush on cello and Mason Self on drums, glock and toy piano. Timbre’s most recent album, “Sun and Moon,” also features the Trevecca Madrigalian Choir.

Cierpke began playing harp professionally by age 12 and was featured on Jack White’s “Lazaretto,” and has played with hard-core bands (mewithoutYou), pop/indie songwriters (Brooke Waggonner), bluegrass icons (Ricky Skaggs) and hard-rock acts (O’Brother).

South Bend's own Brittany Lee Moffitt will open the stage at 8pm.

Brittany Lee Moffitt uses her voice. She uses her captivating, powerful voice - a voice that demands undivided attention from all listeners upon first hearing. Throughout the Midwest (Chicago, IL, Three Oaks, MI, South Bend, IN) Moffitt invites her audience to another world: the world of a songstress with a whimsical, yet funereal disposition. Sad and beautiful; funny and melancholy; loud and powerful, soft and compelling, Moffitt’s performances happily challenge the archetype of today’s American “singer/songwriter”. “Acceptance” transcends the electronic and progressive realms of music, while maintaining an unquestionably organic sentiment. Moffitt’s past experiences with alcohol abuse and recovery provide a raw, intimate lyrical listening experience. She regularly draws influence from an array of unique artists such as Bjork, Joni Mitchell, Beck, Alanis Morissette, and Mike Patton.
